About Sean
Sean Sequeira is a founding member of the company and was appointed Chief Investment Officer in 2016.
With more than 30 years of industry experience, Sean leads the investment team, overseeing stock selection, analysis, and all aspects of the investment process. Sean chairs the Portfolio Risk Committee and the Process Integrity Committee and plays a key role in the Portfolio Construction Committee.
Prior to co-founding the company, Sean gained valuable financial markets experience at investment banks in Europe during the late 1990s. Upon his return to Australia in 1999, he began his career in Australian equities with Tower Asset Management, where he was mentored by Albert Hung, co-founder of Australian Eagle.
Sean often contributes to financial media including the Australian Financial Review and Ausbiz.
In his spare time, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife and young son. He is also passionate about martial arts and trains as a martial arts instructor several times a week.
Sean is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Finance and Economics from the University of Technology, Sydney.
